About Countryside Christian Church

Countryside Christian Church is a Bible-based church that comes from a time when church meant family and we are proud to say that it still does for us.  We are a non-denominational autonomous church that is under the oversight of the Elders and the Pastor of the congregation.  Through the dedication of our leadership, pastors, and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message. We are open to people of all ages and backgrounds, no matter where you are in your faith at this moment.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the complete, infallible and inspired Word of God.   2 Timothy 3:16-17 states, "All scripture is God breathed, and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that you and I may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

It states in Genesis, 1:1, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth," so we believe that God, our loving and just father, is the supreme Ruler of all the universe for all eternity.

Jesus is the Christ, the Incarnate Son of God, that He was born of a virgin that He lived a sinless life, that he died on the cross and received God's punishment for the sins of mankind, was buried then rose from the dead on the third day (both physically and spiritually), is now in Heaven with His Father, that He will return to gather the Church into eternal life in Heaven, and, will send the wicked to eternal punishment in Hell.

That God has steps for our salvation, and those steps are to:

A. Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son.

B. Repent of our sins.

C. Confess Christ's name.

D. Be baptized into Christ by immersion in water.

E. Be faithful to Him throughout your life.

That the Holy Spirit will regenerate any person who obeys his plan of salvation, and will indwell in that person.

That it is possible that we can fall away from grace because we reject Christ.
